This watch's movement ticks roughly 5 times per second which is comparable to older models. Newer models tick 8 times per second. -It keeps very good time -Very easy to resize yourself. No need to take it to a jeweler. I bought a cheap jewelers screwdriver kit and a pair of pliers at a hardware store. I have 2 complaints: 1) The band does scratch easily. 2) The rotating pendulum inside the watch that keeps it wound can be heard when you move your wrist even with slight ambient background noise. All things considered, this is a great product and I will be buying more.
